What a beautiful, classy lady Gloria was! She always had a smile for everyone, and was loved and respected by all. I remember a picture of Gloria (in her 80s) riding a camel when traveling abroad! My prayers and deepest condolences to the Mier family. I’m sure Gloria’s on God’s front row taking it all in!ðŸ™â¤ï¸ _________________ Donna Dodd

I'm not much for saying things so will fully concur with the words of Donna Dodd, above. I'll add a few of my photos, the first one features Gloria with Rose Sinclair.
I did NOT take the following photo, taken of Gloria with her daughter & son at the Ameripolitan Awards ceremony. Apparently they did NOT give her a copy so I gave her this one.
The remaining two photos were taken at the TSGA Jamboree over different years.
We all miss her dearly. RIP my friend! |

It was a pure joy to know Gloria. I looked forward each March in Dallas getting to see, talk and sit with her on the front row. I have often thought of her in the last 6 months. Jim thanks for those really great photos. RIP

Glad you liked the photos, George. As you know, I always sat in the front row, with Gloria. A few years ago, she 'borrowed' my insulin & extra syringe as she had forgotten hers at home & didn't want to go home for it! She was saved an extra trip. Besides friendship, front row allowed me to get better photo shooting chances. |

Tommy loved Gloria, too! I always sat as close to the stage as possible during Tommy’s sets. (Even if it was directly on the floor). One night when his set was over, Gloria leaned over to share that her husband use to to look at her the same way Tommy looks at me.
We both giggled like sappy school girls with a crush, and admitted to how much we love it! â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸ _________________ Donna Dodd
