Considering low end Fender® or Squier® Tele® in good repair with standard single coils set up. Low budget to work with.

If you have something reasonable, send info to my PM and I'll look it over.

Check out Jim Schmidt and JLS guitars on Facebook. Craftsman that worked for Leo, and makes some killer clean looking Tele's down in Sacramento for Less than $400 brand new. Been meaning to order up one of his gorgeous flametop thinlines for a while. I can't make one with as much quality even if ya gave me the wood for free, at such a price.

Thanks for the tip Eric. I'm sure they are nice guitars. I don't FB so I can't see 'em.

Anyway, I'm just interested in a basic, no frills player.

I wish you could see his work, it's exactly what you are describing. A no frills, straight work horse (all of them are still real purty though) for like $350-$450, multiple models available for your preferences. Let me know, I'll catch ya some pics if ya can't get to em via that link.

Thanks, I'm pretty familiar with the runs of Fender and Squier T's. I've owned a few of them including an absolutely grand 'buckers Thinline that I sold to another member here. I also have a couple partscasters and a pretty dandy modded bari '51.

Classic Vibe is a good value yes. I'm thinking more like an Affinity or maybe the Bullet series price range. I know that used Fenders and Squiers do come up that are in the better quality area for similar prices. I'm not going to drop much...just want something to scratch that itch again.

I had a Mex Squier T that I sold cheap and probably shoulda kept, but you know how it goes....back and forth....

I might be able to swing for a good used Classic Vibe Butterscotch if someone has one for sale reasonably.
