I hope Berry can but I have heard this rumor many times while I LIVE NEAR HIM IN Oklahoma. That steel will last someone a lifetime. a few nylon tuners and a few return spring a drop of oil and there is not much else to wear out. |

Thomas is the second-best steel I have ever had. Tone workmanship finish playability staying in tune the works. But Im a Steeler fan, so I cant cant have any Dallas Cowboy stuff _________________ Sustainability is unsustainable |

And I am an Eagles fan. As much as I would like to own this, there is no way that will ever happen. |

I was born in Texas, I live in Texas and lived in the DFW area for 20 years. Texas is the lone star state. It's flag has a single star that is white surrounded in a blue background. The Dallas Cowboys patterned their helmets after the Texas State flag not the other way around. Not sure what Barry's intentions were but I see a guitar that represents Texas instead of a guitar that represents a football team. Make of it what you will.
BTW, I have one of Barry's steel and it is the most precision built pedal steel I've ever seen and I've owned over 60 different pedal steels because I recalled them and wrote them down one day. Thomas steels are a masterpiece in engineering and makes a few much better known brands look like junk.
One more thing, Barry told me on Facebook just last year "If there's anything you need for your steel just let me know." He's still alive and well folks. Look him up. |

for the record, it was built as a Dallas Cowboys guitar...I was playing a Thomas and working with Barry..at the time in Modesto, Ca 95350, I am a Cowboys fan , what better place to show it off but at Dallas Show..All Thomas guitars were built Great, and sounded as good as the guy playing it... ... |
