Another good one Rick. What radio station(s) did Larry announce for?

It was a college station at Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, TN. I graduated from there myself. Larry was nominated a couple of times at the IBMA (international Bluegrass music association) awards show as radio personality, best bluegrass show, etc... along side of XM/Sirius, and other well known bluegrass broadcast. He was disappointed that he didn't win, but I told him "you're in the top five in the world, that's good enough"

He was a great friend. He gave me a job in his family band as a fiddle player and I didn't even know how to play fiddle, I was a banjo player. He said "you can learn as you go like the rest of us". I guess I did okay, and I thank Larry for that.
