Note: This Guitar has resided in our home (non-smoking) and has either been in my music room (majority of the time), or in the travel case, and never been played seriously due to personal medical issues as mentioned.

I purchased this guitar new 12/2016 from GD Walker because it was light and compact, and with a very smooth action. Getting older, I wanted to lighten my load when traveling to jams, etc. I’m not a professional musician, but have been noodling for well-over 45 years. Two weeks after buying the Williams I lost use of my right hand for nearly a year, and through physical therapy have regained about 70% functionality. Win some lose some: During my recovery over the last several years, the neuropathy in both feet has worsened, so I kept on using my MSA SD-10 Legend as my go-to axe because of the easily adjustable pedals, leaving Willie pretty much where it was when I bought it. Selling it has been a tough decision, but as optimistic as I am, realistically I don’t see myself “roading” much, looking forward. So, I’ve got to let Willie go.

To keep the idea of a 12-string alive, I ordered an MSA SD-12 Legend XL a little over a year ago, primarily because of my need for a larger footprint guitar, one with on-the-fly adjustable foot pedals. I’ll most likely be selling my MSA SD-10 Legend upon arrival of the new MSA. Right now though, Willie is looking for a new home Winking

Thanks to all who have PM'd and sent emails. I had to go out of town yesterday, and still trying to catch up with everything today. Tomorrow I have cataract surgery and may be a bit show responding. Thanks in advance for your patience.

Hi Bob That would look good her in my room but I don't think I get away buying another one. That should sell quick. Good luck selling it. Gene

Thank you, Gene. Got your email and after talking with a few locals I believe I could offer a "Copedent Change Allowance." I'll do some more checking to see if I can find local folks to do the work. In the past I've driven to Yuma to see Frank Carter, but with Covid, etc., less travel would be better.

Bob, seems like a real sensible copedant. The Day set up is easier on us with old ankles. I'm always wishing I could get a lower root note on my conventional E9th 10 string. Nice guitar. RP

Thanks, Ron! Yeah, the ankles... you got that right!

I remember a guy who helped me back in the 70's set up my first PSG. He said "just remember, lefty lower, righty raise... I swapped the A & C pedals so they'd work with the levers." Been that way ever since.

I didn't know anything back in those days, and maybe less now, but the Day setup has worked well for me all these years

Killer guitar, if I weren't swimming in guitars, this would be worthy of living with me!

Hi John,

Must have missed the email notification of your post. Sorry about that! Make me an offer I can't refuse! Winking

Wow, what's it been -- a long time for sure. Last time I remember seeing you was around 2006 or '07 at the SWSGA Show in Chandler. I remember you taking photos (like me), and you were noodling on Fred Justice's MSA that I ended up buying.

Regards, Bob
