strung up #69 tonight. i always try to make a demo of builds using the buyers tuning. this guitar is 6 strings. the tuning low to high...C G C G C C. yep thats right...two identical Cs on the top. the low C is a 064! beefy and low! so i tuned it up and came up with a hypnotic dronish fingerstyle tune using that low string all through it for a nice bass. the guitar has fabulous sustain mostly due the maple being decades old. i bought my instrument making wood back in the 70s and it just sounds great. the pickup is a P90 and i am liking it a lot. the scale is 25" to facilitate the low C. check the sustain on the last note.

That sounded great. Bassy but not boomy. And some very nice melodic “dancing†on top. Nic looking, and nice sounding instrument. Cool tuning. _________________ Current Tunings:
