I guess it has gone out of style completely, but I always loved hearing "Twin" leads in harmony. Especially between Pedal steel and Telecaster. Back in the day I remember Ernest Tubb's band, and Buck's "Buckaroos" and the cool doubled licks and solos they would play.

In the 1970's I played pedal steel in several bands where I would always work out harmonies with the lead guitarist. Here is a live video where I play the signature "Hook" along with the lead guitarist (Randy Rigby)

Dom, that sounds great! Thanks for posting. It’s a shame that this isn’t done more with bands that have a PSG and electric.
