This classic was composed by Horace Silver for Baroness Kathleen Annie Pannonica de Koenigswarter, a wealthy heiress from the Rothschild family who famously supported and housed jazz musicians, most famously Thelonious Monk (who composed Pannonica for her).

This is a track Iâ€™m proud of. Though Iâ€™ve been playing it for years, improvising on it always a challenge. Itâ€™s melodic minor heaven!

Tom Beckham played vibes and I did all the rest. Hope you dig it.
