This classic was composed by Horace Silver for Baroness Kathleen Annie Pannonica de Koenigswarter, a wealthy heiress from the Rothschild family who famously supported and housed jazz musicians, most famously Thelonious Monk (who composed Pannonica for her).

This is a track I’m proud of. Though I’ve been playing it for years, improvising on it always a challenge. It’s melodic minor heaven!

Tom Beckham played vibes and I did all the rest. Hope you dig it.
Rickenbacher B6 tuned to C6.
