I stumbled up on a like new Carter SD-10 over the weekend, got it from Bobby Reed in Hendersonville, TN.

Nice clean guitar! Really great playing axe! It is a 2006 model with BCT, 10-1 pickup, 3 X5.

It has a quadruple raise, double lower changer, never saw one before, I have had 2 other Carters in the past, both were triple raise, triple lower.

I got with Al Briscoe and he is sending me the parts required to put my 5 X 5 setup on. I am pretty chuffed about finding a Carter in such nice condition!

Al Briscoe, and Bobby Reed both are greaty guys to deal with! Thanks gents!

I never heard the term “chuffed” before, but I think Carters are pretty darn good guitars in general.

Very nice John.

I have an alternative to the “dog bones” for the bell cranks.

Thanks Ron!

Thats interesting about the "Dog Bones"! That is about the only weak link in the Carters, I just ordered extras from Al Briscoe, wish I had know about yours.

I am adding two pedals to this guitar, it will be like Duane Marrs "Full Gospel Guitar" as he called it. Very cool tuning!

Be well man!

John
