You have to first detune your 10th string to G#.
After that, it makes sense.
What a beautiful performance by Gary Carter.
PS: I should amend my post. The OP didn't specify Gary Carter's version. My remark re: the 10th string is relevant to Gary's recording.
Although the string is detuned a step-and-a-half, you'll find you can still stop it at the second fret and get the F# sub-dominant in the bass. Beware of touching the 10th anywhere else, though. |
