There's one on reverb currently, but the price seems a little steep. What's a reasonable price for one? Not sure this is the right sub-forum, but I figured this might be a start. Feel free to PM me!

Yeah, that one's past the top end of the value. FWIW, I paid $500 for a brand new one with the case and stand accessories. That was in the late 80s, so you'd have to adjust for inflation.

Several of them have sold here in the classifieds, I'd do a search there for comparison. Occasionally one will pop up for sale still.

It depends on what particular model you have ....some were just a straight lap steel type with only volume and tone controls...

Then there was a later model which had a Dobro simulator electronics built into it, along with volume and tone controls - these were quite a bit more expensive in the region of $900-1000 ... also I have seen 6 and 8 string models of both. And mostly lap style, but also some in the shape of a Dobro with the full acoustic body.

You probably need to be more specific which version you have ???

I looked on Reverb before I posted. Only one listed there. It is the original 6 string Duane Marrs RGS Cat Can.

I have 1 of the 6 string Duane Myers RGS guitars.
It has a green Felt or Flocking on the back/bottom of it.
I wonder if the Felt or Flocking was factory done or if someone added it. I guess it was so they could lay it on the strings of a steel for a song as needed.
