IN MYT0 YEARS OF ATTEMPTING TO PLAY PSG'S AND 19 GUJITARS I'VE MNEVER RUN INTO THIS PROBLEM BEFORE. GUESS THAT 'S AN INDICATION OF HOW MUCH I DON'T KNOW. ON MY SHOW PRO SD-10 I LOWER MY E'S ON MY RKL. WHENI ENGAGE THE KNEE LEVER IT DOES NOT RETURN. BEFORE I DIG IN AND DO UNNECESSARY MEDDLING CAN SOMEONE HEAD ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION? THANK YOU....

Can you push the knee lever back into position by hand? If yes, it's probable that something is binding and a touch of lubrication to critical points in the linkage would fix it.

If the knee lever returns to it's neutral position by itself but the string doesn't come back up to pitch, then you might need to tighten the lower return spring for that string (I assume your guitar has them). That's usually a philips head screw just below the raise and lower tuners on the changer end plate.

Or you could call the builder.
