Hey guys I am looking for anything affordable and quality enough to learn on. I have never played before and have wanted to for years. I know the stage ones and encores are great (also impossible to get) but I am just reaching out to see if anyone has anything they would be willing to part with. My name is Andrew and I am in southern Oregon. Thanks

Andrew,
Get this. As you grow you can add pedals and knees.

Andrew,
If I was starting off I would start with a non-pedal steel and not start with a pedal steel unless you are absolutely convinced you have to eventually play one. There are lots of advantages to non-pedal guitars besides the price and you might be amazing at what you can do with just 6 strings in C6 and a good teacher. You can check out these guitars if your interested: https://caladesiguitars.com/custom-guitar-models/

Also feel free to call me (727-3856-4170)or email me for more information on why I think this is a better way to start no matter what direction you eventually go in.

Andrew
I have a 2014 BSG 3X3 Emmons set up I bought on the forum three years ago with the help of a pro player in Seattle. It was my first steel and getting ready to upgrade. Email me if you have any interest. wdlubben@msn.com
