I recently purchased an Alesis SR-18 Drum Machine. Even though I studied the connection diagram I can't figure out how to connect my Hilton volume pedal and my Neunaber Wet Reverb pedal so that they also work. My amp is a Quilter Steelaire Combo amp. I would appreciate any help from you electronic experts out there that has or had one of these drum machines.

Thanks,
Jerry

I used to have an SR-18.

The Steelaire has instrument inputs on the front and an effects loop (if I remember correctly) in the rear.

If you want all three I would run Guitar to Volume Pedal to the Reverb pedal to the instrument input on the front. Connect the SR-18 to the effects loop input on the rear of the amp. I think that will work. The SR-18 has a volume control so you can control the drum volume.

I believe the quilter front jacks will not work if you use the effects loop in for drum machine. If it's a 2 channel combo amp use the guitar as Jack suggested and then put the drum machine into the 2nd channel. Use a low volume setting on the amp until you see what is necessary.

Thanks guys,

I did what Jack suggested and then routed the drum machine into the 2nd channel as you said Larry. It works great! Very Happy
