I am not aware of Wurlitzer steels from any era, nor can I find any examples online, so I'm really curious to see pics. |

I think he must have it confused with an accordion.
They look quite a bit alike.

Closest thing I could find is this "2 by 4" guitar that has a sort of Steinberger look, but it's still a normal fretted guitar (neck style, Bigsby type vibrato bar). It's possible somebody set up one of the Wurlitzer electrics for slide playing, of course. But yeah, I can't find anything on a Wurly lap steel, either.

I wonder if it's maybe a Supro or something like that--that had either been re-branded Wurlitzer for sale in one of their stores, or maybe there's a Wurlitzer store decal on it?

It’s settled then. Worth $355.69, (+ or - ).
It will be easier to adjust the + or - once the OP posts photos. _________________ Current Tunings:

I talked the owner of the steel in question:
It is a National Rocket One Ten 1956
sorry for the confusion. I'll try to get pictures

Very cool guitar. Looking forward to pictures. The National label seems to command slightly more than other contemporary Valco made guitars. I'd compare it to the more common National Dynamic which seems to sell for around $400-$550, depending on condition. |
