Hi lapsteelers,
For about three years I'm arranging and posting tabs in C6 in the tablature section. Something different now.

Member John Limbach asked me if I could do something
with the song Handcuffed to Love played by Herb Remington.
Normally I like to make a C6 arrangement of my own, but in this case Herb plays 8-string in A6.
And last year I happened to buy a SX 8-string, so this was the moment!
Bar by bar I went through the song, and it's amazing to hear the feeling and perfect control of his playing!

I think I caught most of it in a A6-tab, and it's up to you to try out.
You can watch a (hidden) clip with Herb's music and pictures of the tablature.
For you forum members the link is:

I also made a C6-version, to find out what would be different with no top string.
Good stuff to see what is happening on the board, I learned a lot doing this one!

Both complete tabbed versions are in the tablature section now.

Thanks John for keeping me busy with this Remington project! Razz
Bert

That is beautiful, as always. A6 is my preferred tuning mainly because of Herb. Thank you for sharing this with us.

That song has Herb Remington's sound all over it!
Thanks for posting this. I am going to start learning
it this week.

Bert’s Tabs are always very good. He puts a lot of work into preparing them and his backing tracks are also spot on.
Thanks Bert, you’ve done it again
Keith.
