i recorded this 10 years ago and since corea has just passed away, i dug it back out and post it here as a tribute to a great musician. i dont remember which guitar i used on it or how many strings. i do know that the tuning is the leavitt tuning extended out several more strings. i forgot about a "chorus" sound i got by fast vibrato on the bar and a muted section. RIP chick corea. https://www.mediafire.com/file/r4281j87214c62y/Spain_Lap_Steel.mp3/file |

I just can't stop listening to this. I've always loved this song, and this take on it is mesmerizing, sometimes ethereal, oh, so beautiful. Thank-you, Bill! |

Absolutely Magical Bill!
Captures Chick's feel while embodying your own sensibility and style.
Well done and such a pleasure to listen to!!
Over 40 years I've played many of Chick's tunes and this remains a favorite.
