Damir, welcome to the Fessy club. You said in another currently running thread that your Fessenden's tuning keys pull at an angle -- could you post a picture of the peghead end of your guitar ?
BTW ~ that's a real neat colour ! |

Like I told Jerry, I have a great old Emmons original and a great Sho-Bud, but the Fessy is the one that gets the call to play gigs and sessions. All three guitars sound great but the Fessy sounds best to my ear for most of the work I do. It's great to haul out the vintage stuff for certain applications, but the Fessy is certainly my workhorse.

Jim,
I was wrong,I just checked and Fessy is straight like an arrow, but the picture I had in my head may be from my Sho~Bud`s,not sure. The guitar that I was reffering to is a $300 guitar and there is only so much guitar you can get if you pay $300 for it.And I think that is a pretty nice begginers instrument for $300.
Larry,
from the first moment I tried guitar I was impressed with the tone, that`s why I decided to go with this Fessy.Bobbe pretty much gave me the choice to pick whatever I wanted in the store and I picked purple Fessenden.I never tought I would Play Fessenden but then again I always said that I didn`t care what brand guitar is or what it looks like as long as it has the tone I like. And this one does, color I like now after I got used to it and guitar plays like a butter.I`m very happy with my purple Fessy and Bobbe is happy with his `64 Sho~Bud.

Damir,
I just received my U12 Left Handed Fessy from Jerry. 10 + 9. Its shown in a post by Billy Carr. I really like it. I really like Jerry also. I have never seen someone try so hard to make sure a customer is satisfied. Just an all around great guy. I will try it out tonight tonight but so far I can't find the first flaw in it. One thing I like about it is that it is as solid as a rock. All pulls are as straight as an arrow and believe me there are a lot of them. I think this is the guitar to be reakoned with in the future.

Damir I met Jerry a few days before I met you last trip.
Fun guy, and knows his stuff for sure.
Tommy Cass, my Mass, steel guy, spoeaks very highly of Jerry too.
I have tried a couple of his steels and enjoyed them very much.
I like the color, I just got Chacha a
Spark 135 auto-clutch Yamaha bike that color
or close.

Damir,
I didn't have to play outside in the heat as I expected but the guitar performed flawlessly. Can't say the same about me. Stayed in tune, never had to adjust the tuning once I tuned up after the guitar adjusted to the temperature. Great tone and sustain. I'm liking it more every time I sit down behind it. I think I've finally decided what color it is. It's a strawberry color. You know, kinda like if you mash strawberries up in a little milk.. Only problem it makes you hungry when you look at it.

Damir,
just as soon as I get hold of a camera that will show the actual color, I'll post them. I like your guitar. A man close to here has a ZumSteel that is about that same color. I like the color fine... They can't all be black.. LOL
