I am looking for 2 Fender front decals. One for a dual and one for triple 8. Seems to be around 2 inches high by 4 inches long. I've did a search here as well as online but no luck. Any ideas or leads? |

Funny you should mention this, Duane - I've been looking for one for my Stringmaster for a while but haven't had any luck. _________________ Commodore S-8

Levi, yep, I've looked everywhere. The Fender company mentions on their web site to go to a local Fender dealership and have it ordered. I tried that but the sales guys at my local dealer store never heard of that??? If I find where to buy em, I'll let you know. |

Several sellers on eBay. I bought some there for a Strat. They look just fine. You need to make sure of the sizing you need though....and whether you want stickers or water slides. Shop for the correct design, print and color you need. The ones I bought came from Canada, I believe.
Also Etsy. I think even Guitar Center has some.
Now, if you're looking for genuine Fender issue from the 50s, I dunno, but you know someone else makes them for Fender. |

Thanks for the tips Jerry, I did look at ebay earlier in the day, all smaller size. I need the 4x2 inch decal. I'll check etsy again. |

Maybe this is a dumb idea, but I've thought before about trying inkjet water slide decal paper. Find and resize a high res logo and just print it yourself. Unless you're going to try to seal it with something you could cheaply replace it anytime the logo fades, peels or otherwise fails. |

Not dumb at all Brad.
I've made a few water slides using decal paper with an inkjet printer. I used the kit from Hobby Lobby, but there are many different ones out there.
This kit came with clear and white paper, the bonding agent for sealing the ink, instructions etc.
The biggest issue with this is finding a photo of the correct size, azimuth, color etc. to copy.
You can re-size your photo and get pretty close, but I dunno if you can do the exact size.
Alternately, if you know someone in the graphic ad business, they will probably do if for you if you provide the photo or example. |

I would have thought the metallic ink in the logo would be the difficult part or can you get that for inkjet printers now? |

Ive done the inkjet waterslide decals a few years ago. I works but only if you are going to use it on a light coloured background. Black is good, colours are a bit transparent, and obviously you have not got white or metallics. _________________ Duesenberg Fairytale
