Hey there,

Just wanted to share with you all a track from an EP that I played on October 2019.

I started playing about a month before and a friendly acquaintance from Lafayette was rolling through Seattle. A 4 piece was hodge-podged quick for a show and to make a few recordings.

Wallingford Bossa is my favorite track:

Wallingford is the neighborhood in Seattle that I live in and I walked the steel 8 blocks to the drummer Jonny’s basement studio we recorded in. The only show we played was at another friends house the night before. I got a ride there that night but I definitely walked the steel home— I’d say 15 blocks.

I was playing a Carter Starter at the time. Hope you lend an open ear to how pedal steel is working into a new generation of songwriters!
