Hey Guys..What Notation do you use for the Paul Franklin pedal?
One guy told me he calls it pedal D… (It is pedal 4 on his guitar) and tabs that I write I have been calling it PF… But that’s just me is there an industry standard for notating this change? _________________ Jory Simmons

Hey Jory, why don't you become the new industry standard with "PF"? Might want to put a note on your tab that says what it stands for. I haven't seen any other tab using it yet and since some guys have it in position 0 and others in position 4, the letters make sense. Seems E9 has always used letters for pedals with A, B, C and C6 has always used numbered pedals so that makes further sense to use letters for an E9 pedal. |

I actually do put a * By the "PF" then notate it on the bottom of the page. I think PF is good because some guys put it on a knee lever. I have a new customer that has gotten 4 tabs in two week from Me....He just took delivery on a New Mullen G2 U12. He's a Beginner too! He emailed me and asked about the franklin Pedal....I asked Him why he ordered it to begin with..He said 'cause a buddy of his told Him it was "Cool". I told Him just take a Video lesson with Me... _________________ Jory Simmons |

If somebody put FP I would figure out what it meant. _________________ _________________
