This topic has had miles of coverage, but a few months ago a forum member had posted information regarding Fender knee lever kits that he could make and sell. Does anyone know anything about this?

That was Bud Vanderberg - but he's had some health issues and hasn't been able to work on it much from what I understand. I think he's considering having plans available for more of a "do it yourself" situation.

Hi Jim:
I am due for two more health procedures and then I should be good to go.
I have sent the parts for the knee lever kits to my friend Joe DeLaronde in Canada. Joe is a first class machinist and all around good guy.
He just lost his wife last week and it may be a little while before he is up and running. But I believe he will do a good job on these and the price will be in the ball park.
Bud
