One of the things I've never messed with before.
I know how to use a soldering iron from when I was making my own cables.
How hard is it?
Are there some specific steps I should take to make it right?
Answers or step by step instructions would be much appreciated. _________________ <small><b>'75 Sho-Bud 4&4, '01 Zumsteel 8&8, 2012 Zum Hybrid 4&6</b></small> |

There are numerous different attachment and adjustment methods used by different makers. If you are dealing with wood or machine screws with springs, this was a good little trick I used last time I dealt with it to keep the spring in place and to stabilize and straighten the screw a bit. Not a miracle but it takes a little bit of the aggravation out of it.
