I HAVE A NASHVILLE 400 [MID 90'S]THAT IS BLOWING THE 6AMP FUSE INSIDE THE CHASSIS AS SOON AS IT POWERS UP. ANY SUGGESTIONS? IT IS THE BARE CHASSIS,NO CABINET OR SPEAKER INVOLVED IF THAT HELPS. THANKS DAVE

First likely culprit is output transistor failure. Second and not as likely a power filter cap failure

Thanks Ken. I figured you may chime in here. Are you doing any repairs these days?

A few now and then. Freight is so high that a lot times it’s better to get a local shop if you have one.

Ten years ago about $1.00 a pound. Varies up to $3.00 (west coast from Georgia)

The N-400 is a pain to replace outputs. They are solder in. To test they have to be de soldered

If Peavey would do that repair I would send the chassis to them

Thanks Ken. I hadn't really thought about shipping but you're right it has gotten crazy expensive. There is a shop not too far from here called Wickam Audio that has a good reputation for quality work. I'll take it up there.
