haha, thanks I knew the story behind this exact one but christies doesn't list a model name or year. I was hoping for some more info in that regard. I did find it though. Its a mid 30s to early 40s National D8 new yorker. The big "console" written on the side made searching for it more difficult. I picked one up on reverb a while ago. Working on replacing the tuners now. Just cleaned it all up and got the electronics cleaned. Still needs pickups charged too.
