Shipped from Montreal on November 12, and vanished from the Canadian postal system until December 15th. I’d already initiated my insurance claim. Fortunately, that will no longer be necessary. According to Canada Post it wasn’t out for delivery yet, but there it was, at my door!
1937 Gibson EH-100 7 string. All original, plays wonderfully and the pickup sounds amazing. Yes, I’m happy.

That is in nice condition. I love the look of the EH guitars and a seven string to boot! |

Looks like you have a new #2 (behind your Bakelite), if not a #1. Nice! Congrats. |

I'm a die-hard postwar Gibson guy, but I gotta admit there's nothing I've ever played that surpasses the tone of my T-logo Bakelite. |

My little Gibson family... |
That's a great start. Now you need a Century and/or an Ultratone. |

First time it clicked in my pointy little head that Kalamazoo used the same silkscreen on the fretboards for both the BR-9 and the Skylark. Duchossoir purports the numbered frets are indicative of student models, and were influenced by Barnes & Reinecke, CMI's industrial design firm of choice. The first version of the BR-6 used a similar, but not identical, design:
