Zumsteel Center Pull 8+5, Emmons copedant, Trutone pickups.
This guitar has been my showtime axe until the covid19 break, thus is absolutely stage-ready, a first class player's guitar and a real looker under the lights.
Cosmetically excellent with the exception of one crack in the Formica on the back panel, visible only from behind. The guitar itself is not damaged in any way, only the cosmetic material. I suspect a large-ish belt buckle got tangled up with it somewhere along the line, but it was before my time.

The copedant shown below includes two changes not currently installed on this guitar: E9 RKL only changes string 1, and there is no C6 LKR. Everything else is exactly as shown, tuned to Jeff Newman's spec.

$4500 Guitar with one-piece Baldwin-style Case

$5000 Guitar with Rack-Mounted VP, Matching Steelers Choice Sidekick Seat, and Bob Littleton Split Cases

Ha! Thanks for the love Bob, but I now have TWO gorgeous lacquer Push-Pulls in the stable, one rebuilt by Lynn Stafford and one by Tommy Casella. They both play and sound perfectly dreamy and space in the new place is at a premium, so the Zum has become surplus hardware around here. You know what a great sounding axe it is, and with the complete show kit I have assembled around it, I figure somebody should be playing it out there, it's just not going to be me.

Hope you folks are staying well and jolly.

I would prefer not to ship this, and would much rather deliver it or meet up mid-way. Email me if you are interested.

A couple of quick tone samples shot with my phone. No trick effects at all, just the Zum, Shobud VP, and a Fender amp with spring reverb, captured by my Samsung telephone microphone. I do think this axe sounds just wonderful, even when played by a hack such a I...

Years back I had a Zum U-12 about the same age....The tone was rich, and the playability was smooth ! At the time I was trying out as many steels as I could to see what suited me best..... Out of probably 25 steels later, that Zum is in the top 4 steels that I wish I had kept....I had a Truetone 18.5 on it.....Live and learn !!.....Good Luck with the sale !!..Jim
