I have an old Evans Hybrid amp that needs some work. Having hard time finding parts. I have checked with Scott at Evans and had no luck, since this is an older amp. Wondering if anyone has any idea who I could take it to? I am a couple of hours from OKC and Dallas...I would appreciate any suggestions, we just don't have anyone in this town that works on amps. |

Do you have a schematic of the amp? With that info I might be able to help you with specifying parts. _________________ Michael Brebes

No sir, I don't...think it just needs some resistors that we can't seem to find anywhere... |

Can't find the right value of the resistor? you may need to use two or more in series or parallel _________________ Duesenberg Fairytale

Derrell Stephens is your guy, he probably built it. He lives near Texarkana, Tx. _________________ Darvin Willhoite

Hi Allan...I have an assortment of NOS resistors in various values. If you find out the values you need and let me know what they are, I'll see if there is anything there that you need. _________________ Emmons Push Pull, BMI, Session 400, Home of the Slimcaster Tele. |

The Showbud Compactra, 300 Hybrid and FET 500 HV were Jim Evans designs. Derrell designed the FET 500 LV
Jim sent me all the schematics he could find years ago as he wanted to repair his older amps.
We became great friends over the years. He was electronics go to guy for a lot things I would have need for help on. I miss him very much! One of the great ones!!!
