I love this record...but this solo always stuck out to me like maybe Jimmy had one leg in bed...not that it's bad.

Yep, it fits right with Willie's guitar playing. Always great, but a little off the wall.

Maybe there was just a touch of blue smoke wafting in the room on that session. It’s the perfect steel part and a great recording. I love how the last chorus just explodes out after the last solo.
