Steve, It will work with a 9 volt power supply or a 9 Volt battery.

The TP gives a real nice singing sustain with a gentle compression of your notes. Not really a "squash" type compression.

I dug mine out of a box after not using it for many years and was super surprised and happy with it. I used it for a direct recording and it’s fantastic. The blend really makes it versatile. Someone snatch this!!!
