Anyone care to post a picture of your amp setting for a NV400 with full Fox Mod?
Thanks _________________ ________________

Sorry Craig, I haven't been on the forum in a few days...I would have responded sooner. Here's what seems to work for me. I don't use amp reverb, I use wet reverb.
Thanks, Roger

BTW Craig, I forgot to mention that I use a L'il Izzy and a Hilton active volume pedal so to my ears I have to cut the treble and Presence an extreme amount for me to get the smooth tone I look for. If you don't use an Izzy and have a passive volume pedal, I'm sure you could boost the Presence a little to taste and probably the treble more towards a flat setting on those. I love the Izzy, but the circuitry seems to extract a good part of the low end and jacks up the treble by quite a lot! Good Luck, Roger |

I have one of the Hilton digital sustain boxes, the ones with both gain and tone knobs. It allows me to taper the highs down to acceptable level on my Fox modded NV400 _________________ Pre RP Mullen D10 8/7, Zum 3/4, Carter S-10 3/4, previous Cougar SD-10 3/4 & GFI S-10 3/4, Fender Steel King, 2 Peavey Session 500's, Peavey Nashville 400, Boss DD-3, Profex-II, Hilton Digital Sustain, '88 Les Paul Custom,Epiphone MBIBG J-45, Fender Strat & Tele's, Takamine acoustics, Marshall amps, Boss effects, Ibanez Tube Screamer, and it all started with an old cranky worn out Kay acoustic you could slide a Mack truck between the strings and fretboard on!! |
