Well first of all - she isn’t touring - but then no one is. But I believe it’s been several years since she did tour.

Recording? The last album she recorded was Mountain Soul 2 which came out 11 years ago.

With that information, I'd say she is out of business.

She doesn't tour regularly now, but every once in awhile, she'll play the Opry, along with her husband, Emory Gordy Jr. Last I heard, Emory is retired but plays some recording sessions with different musicians, and plays guitar in Patty's band if they play shows, but lately, she hasn't toured, she's spending time with Emory and their family in Dallas, Georgia, and no longer tours on a regular basis. She toured a lot while she recorded with Epic Records. In 2011, she sang background vocals on Miranda Lambert's fourth album, "Four The Record", and also sang background vocals on one of Kathy Mattea's recent records, and did another song with Vince Gill called "Out Of My Mind", and had also appeared singing background vocals on a Bob Seger record. Her last album with Epic Records came in '05, when she recorded an album called "Dreamin' my Dreams", then Sony Music Nashville released her in '06.

Per Wikipedia, Patty performs once a year at the Grand Ol' Opry and has performed on a Country Music Cruise although she is not currently listed as a performer.
