That is horrendous news. We still have people in my country who dismiss the virus as scaremongering. Oh what a punch in the heart. Really hits me hard. I never personally knew "Mikey" but knew Gospel groups he recorded with, and his name would come up. _________________ Mullen Lacquer SD 10, 3 & 5; Mullen Mica S 10 1/2 pad, 3 & 5; BJS Bars; LTD400, Nashville 112, DD-3, RV-3, Hilton VP . -- Gold Tone PBS sq neck; Wechter Scheerhorn sq neck. -- "Experience is the thing you have left when everything else is gone." -anon.- |

Damn, I have to say I am shocked. I only knew Mike through the forum, but I felt a camaraderie towards him as I do towards many of you here. I'll say a prayer for him and his family tonight.
More and more these days I'm reminded how fragile life is. |

Another gut-wrenching notification. Like Roy Peterman said, I too knew Mike from his days with Tammy when we did shows together. He sure was a great guy..!!
My prayers and deepest sympathies go out for Mike, his family and friends.

I also thought Mike was going to pull through per his posts. This invisible monster is so random and unfair. Paul Franklin’s analogy of it being a beast is correct.
I know Heaven will accept our dear friend with open arms. |

Terribly sad news. I had a personal message of appreciation from Mike after I posted on a subject and he was such a gentleman. Rest in peace. _________________ The steel guitar is a hard mistress. She will obsess you, bemuse and bewitch you. She will dash your hopes on what seems to be whim, only to tease you into renewing the relationship once more so she can do it to you all over again...and yet, if you somehow manage to touch her in that certain magic way, she will yield up a sound which has so much soul, raw emotion and heartfelt depth to it that she will pierce you to the very core of your being. |
