for this...
it was an even trade and I think I did pretty good.I have session Monday or Tuesday and was worried about pemanent and tuning in studio, this guitar has a very good tone and it`s a modern mechanism...sounds good and plays great.
If you have a nice old permanent Sho~Bud and need to update to an newer guitar Bobbe is the man to talk to.
I never tought I would play a Fessy but this guitar is pretty darn good to tell you the truth..and I don`t worrie about my session anymore.

now, when I was there I took a good looka t a new Peterson VS-II tuner, this thing has a programs for E9 and C6 necks and it does work great.
So..if you need to get in tune for your session (like I`m trying to do) Bobbe is your man and he will set you up with a new Peterson VS-II for a good price.

Frank,
I know, but once you get used to it it`s not too bad,but what was the worst of all is that FedEx purple uniforms are the same color as this guitar, seems like even after I sold my business in FedEx I still can`t get away from them, like a nitemare.Maybe now I can wear my FedEx shirts on the gig`s..ha

Jerry Fessenden builds a fine guitar. I personally like the color. I own two Peterson tuners also for my personal use. They're the way to go with the pre-sets. Of course, with Bobbe you know he's going to take of you when it comes to steel guitars, etc. You now probably have one of the best guitars on the market today. In closing, there's several builders building fine guitars today as well. I wouldn't have a problem playing any of them. The Fessy is right there with them! |

just plug in your guitar, turn it on to E9 or C6 preset and tune,simple..takes about 5 minutes to figure it out

Well, my reason for "over paying" on this deal was that I needed a great original Sho-Bud perminent and Damir's was the best one I had seen in a while, the C6th neck needed re-rodding and some new old parts along with a complete setup, but after this was done, I just couldn't let him have the guitar back.
The Fessenden was a wonderful guitar but my heart went "Sho-Bud" on me.
The Sho-Bud is a '64 perm., and a very deluxe model guitar that will spend the rest of it's life in the "Sho-Bud" museum.
So when you come to Nashville, be sure to see this room full of old original Shot Jackson built Sho-Buds, along with some great Emmons originals and several Bigsbys. No telling what else will be here by then,
And by the way, thank you Damir, and the rest of you,,,I'm looking for any guitars of special interest you may know of that would like to be saved for all to enjoy,
Bobbe

BUCK,
Yes, I have one, and will have many more in the future (I hope).
Peavey has just come out with a new series of tube amps made EXACTLY like the great old 6l6-GC amps of yester year. Loud and incredible tone. Also small and pretty light. As a matter of fact, I have several new Peavey tube amps, most are very good, but one model is a total killer! Unbelievable! We are doing a lot of testing now and should be finished by Wednesday, I think the results will make believers out of any of you that have any doubts about Peavey building a GREAT tube amp!
Something is going on down there in Meridian MS., and I think we are all going to like it!!!!!!!!!
