 Dobro E45-8 lap steel/console guitar, serial number 8 118 4E, made in 1978, 23" scale, Bill Lawrence 705 chrome surround pickup, 3 legs, and hard shell case. Couldn't find very much info on this rare guitar but boy is it a killer and it sounds and plays great! Overall condition is very good, one pic shows an area that was touched up by the 8th string tuner. Nice one to add to your collection! This could have been made when Don Young (RIP) worked at OMI, the Huntington Beach production tenure. Pretty sure that Bill Laurence was making model 705 humbucks then. Pristine except for the aluminum nut with a string-angle tangle in one picture.. or was that corrected? EZ fix if not.
