I am looking to buy the BIAB Mega Pak. I would like to record my steel guitar onto tracks on BIAB. Any help on how I would do that ,please let me know.

No experience with it, but I would think you could play the BIB track through your audio interface and record it in your DAW. Then you just overdub your steel to the track in the DAW. Make sense?

An easier way would be to render the file to .wav, then drag the files to the session in your DAW and they're good to go from there. make sure that your temp and time signature match with your audio. Also, make sure that the sample rate matches as well.

If you're looking at the Band-in-a-Box for Windows MegaPAK then you'll receive Band-in-a-Box, RealBand and a Band-in-a-Box plugin for use in a DAW. Band-in-a-Box for Mac includes Band-in-a-Box and the plugin but doesn't include RealBand.

You should use an audio interface to record audio. Make sure the audio interface has a headphone jack with zero latency. That way you can listen to the output of Band-in-a-Box and your steel at the same time. If you have a condenser microphone the audio interface will need to provide phantom power to the microphone. If you have a midi keyboard you may want MIDI IN and MIDI OUT ports on the interface.

Band-in-a-Box has an audio channel suitable for recording. RealBand has 48 recording tracks.

The plugin lets you use a small version of Band-in-a-Box inside a DAW so you can easily listen to Band-in-a-Box tracks, edit them and move them to a DAW.
