I'd heard of this guy. This video came up while I was searching for something else, but I liked it!
Thought I'd pass it on.

Anybody know anything about him?

I have maybe 10 recordings by him and have heard more.

Recorded both under his own name and with Felix Mendelsshon's fine band.

Played an Abbott brand steel as I recall; that may be it in the film.

If memory serves, he is originally Canadian? Spelling perhaps Piche and then anglicized to Peachey. It's usually spelled with 2 Es.

You should be able to find a lot of the stuff with Felix---Cherokee, Lady Be Good, Japanese Sandman, Moon Of Manakoora, In The Mood, Hawaiian Gems, etc. I really like the Mendelssohn band and Roland was a big part of it.
