Oh I know Paul. Back when Murph lived here; I took care of all his pedal steels and they were all set up the same and I LOVED PLAYING THEM.....he had everything so strategically placed in how he plays; it finally makes sense after playing it a few times and I just had a mind blowing awesome time.

My Super Pro was a 9 and 9 -- had it setup that way when I ordered it from the factory ! staggered LKL levers. Chrome BL705's.

This pic is the way the guitar is now - I sold it back in the mid 80's when I got my MCI Rangexpander.

Paul the guitar is looking a bit battered these days ... be nice to get it back and completely rebuild it !!! it was built Nov 81, It arrived at my place about Feb 82.

The E9th is the same as I have on my Zum's - effectively the same as Paul F's ... but with the addition of the staggered LKL which lowers the 6th to F# and has the split on it as well. PF pedal on 4 ...Lower E's on RKL ...

C6th starts on pedal 5 (no C6th changes on pedal 4) .. Boowah is the first C6th pedal rather than the last.. the remainder are pretty much standard except I don't raise the A's to B.. knees - reverse pedal 6, raise and lower A's a half .. lower string 3 a half... and raise both C's to C#

Terry Bethel's Sho-Buds were loaded. I don't have any photos of them. I remember doing a show in Michigan with him around 1980 while he was with Billy Jo Spears. Terry was playing a Super Pro that had 10 & 10 (or 10 & 9) and he sure sounded great !!!

That’s the same guitar in my picture, Tiny! It’s 10x9 but I’m almost certain it was 10x10 until Terry and Dick rebuilt it. I was able to get it a couple weeks ago. I guess it’s pretty fitting that this is my first Sho-Bud. About the only thing we ever truly disagreed on was the Emmons vs. Sho-Bud subject, so I’ve laughed every time I’ve played it, knowing EXACTLY some of the things he’d have to say about it! Mr. B wasn’t fond of and never did own a Brand X.

I'm glad you answered my post Tyler 'cause I thought that was the same horn..!! Really cool that you got it. I know what you're saying about Terry and "Brand X" as I was playing Emmons Originals... and still do.

Terry was such a fun person and great player..!!

Hope you're well man.
