If weight is an issue you might look at a Key Board Gig Bag I used a Gator GPG 49 with a Carter D-10 and It worked great has a full length pouch outside to put the pedal bar and nice plush padded inside under $200 on line.

Forum member Kevin Hatton, in Buffalo NY, has been building cases for a long time. With or without wheels.

I have a two piece set he made for my GFI D-10.

I too have Hatton split cases for my Sho~Bud Pro 111 Custom, and my Emmons D10 push pull. Great cases.
