A Song of Old Hawaii played on a Jedson Lap Steel Guitar C6 tuning. Backing made with tenor ukuleles!
Mostly adapted from Doug Beaumier 2nd book on Lap Steel Guitar.

Great job on one of my favorite Hawaiian tunes. By any chance is the excellent backing track available for purchase from you?

Thank you Jeff and CE Jackson.
CE....the Jedson Steel is very nice. It was my first steel and very inexpensive. The Jedson has legs also. I decided I wanted to play steel mainly on my lap so I started looking for other steels. Not sure even now why I did not just put the legs away and play the Jedson Lap Style.........a bit obvious really, I think the grey matter is not what it used to be Very Happy !

I really enjoy your posts Mike! The Jedson is cool. I'm getting a lot from Doug Beaumier's books as well.

Thank you Jim Joe and Doug.

I cannot say enough about Doug's books when I was trying to find my way around C6 Lap Steel guitar. Helped me so much.

Doug the little Jenson was very inexpensive and has a warm rich sound that I like. I am not sure that the blend wheel is working. I cannot perceive any change to the tone of the instrument. I think it might be in humbucker mode only!
