Hi All

Since leaving academia (sounds less terminal than retiring) I have worked intensively, obsessively, and at times insanely on my pedal steel playing, with a view to becoming the best steel player on earth. As we speak I can confidently announce that I am undoubtedly the best steel player in North Somerset, UK, so everything is on track.

The result of all this craziness is three albums exploring different possible (and unexplored) domains of pedal steel playing: grooves, free jazz, and avant-gardism, respectively.

The first of these albums is released today and is entitled 'No Pedals No Way. Vol. 2. The Groove Collection,' pretty groovy right? At £3.00 (about 3.87 USD) for 14 groove-filled tracks that's a bloody bargain!!

All proceeds go to my preferred charity the FPFIS (Francis Peters Foundation for Impoverished Students)

So, put your hands in your pockets, and let's get my boy a new pair of socks (or a couple of pints...or both!)

Cheers

Gary

Great stuff Gary. I love that glitchy, low-fi style in your production.
Very cool!
