Can someone,,maybe a proud Sierra owner,,tell me the width of a Sierra S-12??

9 & 10/32 " on the underside, measured from outside edge to outside edge (it'll be a bit less on the top side)

I'm another proud owner of a Sierra U12, (with a pad) and it measures 11 3/4" at the bottom - a little more
narrow at the top. Thats about a 3" pad.

Just curious on a guitar like that - what's the distance between strings? Do they vary much from maker to maker?

Sierra Session Series = 8.25" top, 9.5" bottom of end plate, string centers = 11/32" at the changer.

Crown Series = 8.125" top, 9.750" bottom of end plate, string centers = 11/32 at the changer.
