What does everyone think if you have the pedal, is it better than a Goodrich? does it make your steel sound good? Thank you, thinking about getting one need to know if they are good. Have a Bless Day. |

I've also had both and prefer the Telonics over the Goodrich, very clean, quiet, and totally reliable. They are built like a tank too! |

Telonics is the best, also the most expensive.
Unless you use all its multitude of clever features, the Hilton is better value. _________________ Make sleeping dogs tell the truth!

Hilton's are not exactly cheap themselves and offer far less than the Telonics. I wouldn't trade one Telonics for ten Hilton's, unless of course I was just going to sell them...
Just my personal opinion.......FWIW
Service is another concern, you can't beat Telonics service. |

They pop up used for sale regularly here, you can try all 3, there's pros using each of them. If you don't like one, sell it at same price.
I've had absolutely top notch service from Telonics, Hilton and Goodrich. _________________ - keyless Sonny Jenkins laps stay in tune forever!; Carter PSG

Mine is on the way, and I am excited about getting one to compliment my Telonics amp which has tone to the bone! Next thing I will go for is a Telonics pickup! I have both. Both are good. But the Telonics is great. In a class by itself. |

Terry, both the Telonics and Goodrich are great pedals.
But you cannot compare them to each other as they are totally different beasts.
The Telonics is all electric and has great features. It is the cleanest sound available.
The Goodrich offers several pedals. The 3 most popular are all pot pedals inc. the OMNI. However the OMNI has an electric buffer to smooth out the pot sound.
So in the end, you need to decide if you want "pure clean" or the "dirty" sound of a pot pedal.
Both have their advantages and a lot of it depends on your style of playing.
Let me know if I can help you with either one. _________________ AUTHORIZED George L's, Goodrich, Telonics and Peavey Dealer: I have 2 steels and several amps. My current rig of choice is 1993 Emmons LeGrande w/ 108 pups (Jack Strayhorn built for me), Goodrich OMNI Volume Pedal, George L's cables, Goodrich Baby Bloomer and Peavey Nashville 112. Can't get much sweeter. |
