I just got a used Nashville 112, and something is loose within the body cavity. I think it is the reverb unit. Whatever it is, it rests on the bottom of the cabinet and is covered with heavy black plastic like the skin of the cabinet.
When I received the amp, the black plastic bag that holds the reverb (?) or whatever it is had come free from the bottom of the cabinet except for one corner that was held in place by the screw for the back leg on the right side (as you're facing the back).
My questions are: 1) What is the loose piece? 2) Does it matter that it is loose? (Seems like it will risk being damaged when moved.) 3)Is this a simple home repair job? 4) Should I return it? Thank you for your knowledge! _________________ Gettin' better . . .

That is the reverb pan assembly. Usually just one crew (from the top of the bag into the cabinet bottom) is used to hold it in place.
Just screw it back down.
I no longer have a NV112 or I'd show you pictures. |

As Jack said, except there are usually 2 screws at odd corners.
A very simple fix. 1/2" long wood or sheet metal screw and screwdriver. If you can't find the old hole in the vinyl, just punch a new one.
These reverb bags often came loose in transit. _________________ AUTHORIZED George L's, Goodrich, Telonics and Peavey Dealer: I have 2 steels and several amps.
