Hey, gang!

Can anyone recommend someone to service a pedal steel in Nashville?

Normally, I'd take it up to Bobby Seymour's old place in Hendersonville outside Nashville, but they're moving the shop to Texas. As a matter of fact, the truck JUST finished loading up.

It's a sad day...

Buck's on the forum - https://bb.steelguitarforum.com/profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=182 and has a website - http://www.buckreid.com/ with lots more information.

On SGN moving to Texas - I wish them luck but it will be a drag that they're not in Hendersonville. But in these times, you gotta do what you gotta do to survive.

Hopefully someone else will set up in Nashville.

Austin is what I heard.

I think you can find Buck Reid on facebook too.
Damir Besic and Mike Bourque have posted some video with Danny Muhammed recently

I keep hearing about musicians leaving Austin. That sounds like an iffy location.

Dallas Wayne and Redd Volkert both moved to Virginia (different locations). I read a post that Neil Flanz moved to Houston. Those are just 3 that I know.

That is the Main thing I was wondering; like J R just mentioned> Is it VIC LAWSON moving this whole establishment?? If it is Vic opening a new Store down this way....(eventhough I don't need a job)I would like to apply for a Job with Vic; that would be "too cool for school". Course I never knew who Owned the Store after Seymour passed?? and of course, you can't call it ANYTHING Nashville down here in Texas....ha....well maybe in Austin; as Austin is now a California City...it's lost it's TEXAS status in these last 20 years....and that's why I LIVE WHERE JIMMY DAY lived > BUDA, TEXAS....yeeehaaa(just 20 minutes south of my recent hometown Austin)

Buck IS around and working. If you're in Nashville, take him your steels!

Another great steel technician is Kelcey O'Neil at Southern Steel Service. He's an Emmons push-pull wizare! https://www.facebook.com/groups/167217160035160/user/100008784726973

It's not Vic Lawson that is moving the store. last time I was there (recently), it appeared to be managed by a woman...which, is perfectly OK by me. But... she didn't seem to me, to know much about steel guitar.
