One of my customers was told by an unreliable source that the BJS Bars are no longer being made, boy is that news for me, maybe the guy that's speading the wrong news would like to come over and help Buff and Polish some bars then he would know what work is like.
You know I often wonder what make some people tells things that isn't true and when confronted with the issue looks dumb founded like what are you talking about.
Anyways guys you know where to reach me if you need a BJS Bar 731-364-3519 Email bjsbars@frontiernet.net
Thanks to all that supports and keeps me working to produce the BJS Bars. I try my best to satisfy and stand behind my products.
Thanks,
Bill

Bill's bars are the only ones I've used for 16 years now... I think it's 16, it's been so long ago since I even considered using another brand that I've forgotten.

One of the finest-made products in Steel-land.

Bill,

Your bars are the very best. No comparison. Mine are well over 20 years old and still look great!!

Same thing goes for your picks!

I will never use anything other than BJS. I love my new bar. It's as smooth as silk. Bill not only makes great bars, he's a great person. Keep up the good work.

Well, if Bill has gone out of business, my 4 BJS bars have just gone up in price. That is, if I would ever consider selling one, which I won't. The Herbster and I have been using these wonderful assets about the same amount of time, and not one of my bars has a dent in it. Luv 'em.

Bill's not just blowing smoke.
I heard the same thing from a music retailer. Just wonder if it came from the same source. Won't mention any names, but I can say I'm terribly disappointed in the person I heard it from!
Thanks for a great bar Bill and glad to see you're still in business!

Hi All! I purchased two BJS bars, and Frenchy's told me they were not going to be making these any longer when I purchased a 15/16 from him. This is the only word I can add to this discussion.

Well I wish someone would let me know what I'm suppose to make and not make..now I'm confused?? haha, see this is how talking about something you really don't know about gets rumors started.
To the Steel Guitar Industry I'm still making the bars....this is from the horses mouth.
If any of you need a bar contact Shirley at 731-364-3519 or email me at bjsbars@frontiernet.net this will get a bar into your hands.
Thanks, and yes I still have dealers that sells these bars also.

Bill IS making bars! Great bars! And he is a great guy that cares about quality!
I still have some in stock and plan to have more if this ole' rascal will send me some! What a guy. I still have one that he gave me in St.Louis in '82. He didn't even know me, (I dont think!)
Bless you Bill, I'm behind you all the way.

Thanks guys for your support, Bobbe, as soon as I can get some of my 7/8 ten string bars polished and back from hard chroming I'll get in touch with you so you can get some stocked up. The truck-line that wrecked my bars, (destroyed them) put a big dent in my supply. I've got to make some more soon. I've got plenty of the other sizes, but the 10 string 7/8" I'm working on right now.
Tyler, Bobbe, Buck, and to all thanks for using the BJS.

Bill, rumors are a part of life They're gonna surface when you least expect them. A few years ago I walked into a place and a guy looked at me like he was seeing a ghost. He said "what are you doing here? I contributed money on flowers for your funeral a while back". Ironically he died shortly after that but I'm still kicking.
I have used 2 BJS bars for many years now (not at the same time). Can't wear them out. Thanks for a great product...... JD

Bill,

I've used your bars since 1985, and I simply won't use any other brand of bar. For those of you who haven't tried one yet, I encourage you to contact Bobbe or Bill...you won't be sorry

Bill is the best. The first time I talked to him on the phone he spoke with me like I was his friend of 30 years not a new customer. Most people try to get your order then get rid of you, not Bill what a pleasure to deal with. He cares about his customers and his products.

Be sure and hear Bill play at the next show
in April at the NTSGA. He plays just as good as he makes a bar and he's a pro at both.

When I mistakenly thought that I would no longer play PSG, I sold my 15/16” 10-str. BJS Tone~Bar. The best sound I ever had with my PSG! Yesterday I ordered a brand new 15/16” BJS Tone~Bar. So, I'm hoping, like YOGI said; “It's going to be Day~Zha~Voo, all over again”!

Though I started playing steel in 1980, I am a BJS newbie. After playing an old Marlen 7/8 bar for most of those years, I moved up to a 1" BJS.

The best purchase I ever made in years (other than my Carter). It made my playing feel and sound better. Thanks for a great bar, Bill.

I really can't add much more to this. I will say that if I had to revert back to some of the older bars I used prior being introduced to BJS by Johnny Gudgel, playing wouldn't be the same. Bill's bars add such great tone and sustain. That combined with the outstanding customer service and all you can say is "BJS IS THE BEST!!
