I had a great find yesterday. I worked for Little Jimmy Dickens on the Grand Ole Opry for a year in 1981. There was a show they did called "Back stage at the Opry".

I've been looking for the video for 39 years and finally found it. I had a ball with him being one of the "Country Boys", his band. Many stories I could tell!


I feel years later here, I've seen my playing technique truly increase in all ways. Back 39 years ago I played very little C6 tuning. Now I use it all the time and really am drawn to it. If I had to do that tune again, it would be on C6 vs. E9th.

Ron you did great. Those were some good times in country music. You were in the thick of it.
