Just a quick note to say “I finally got the pedal a Steel of my dreams Fellas!” after waiting, searching, for months I finally found the Steel that was meant for me...
It’s a Mint Condition 1 owner 1995 Mullen Pre RP Pedal Steel, I couldn’t have gotten a better steel guitar than this...I’m very, very, thankful, appreciative, and happy my search is over, and now my journey begins! The Family even brought it to me here in Cleveland all the way from Michigan because they could stand the thought of shipping it...
Truly Unbelievable! God was in on this deal, all Honor, Glory, and Praise be to my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ! “All things work together for good to those who put there trust in Christ! He will work it out! In His time, not ours!
Respectfully Submitted,
Jeffery S Mercer

Looks great. A solid Mullen D10 is enough guitar to last a lifetime.

Congrats Jeffery! I was really feeling for you after seeing your name on at least 10 threads on the forsale forum hunting for "the one". I'm very happy you finally found it!

And best of all, welcome to the Mullen family! I got mine 3 years ago and fully expect it to be the last pedal steel I ever buy. There are many Mullen players here so if you ever need help or advice, you can probably find it on this forum. If not or if you ever need parts, just drop Mike at Mullen a line. He's a great guy who stands behind their great pedal steels Winking

Excellent choice Exclamation

I can't imagine how you could be anything less than thrilled and satisfied. I've had my Mullen for a little over two years. I was about six months into learning to play pedal steel when I bought it. It still has a lot more to offer than I know how to get, and I imagine that will continue to be true for a long, long time.

I've changed the copedent a few times and watched Johnny Cox add some center knee levers, and I'd have a hard time finding any way to make it easier to work on, unless I can figure out how to make two pull rods occupy the same space at the same time. Very Happy

I should also mention that the people at Mullen answer questions quickly and reliably, and the support couldn't be better.

You may get the accurate impression that I'm a highly satisfied player.

Thanks so very much Al for those encouraging words! Wow! It’s exciting for sure!
There’s not any Steel players in my area that I know of so I’m pretty much on my own here...
I’m hoping there’s a DVD or VHS Tape of “How To’s” out there that I can purchase,
Just something to show for example: From changing and putting on a new set of strings too tuning, and then doing the pedal and knee adjustments...but in the proper order, until I get it fixed in my head and it becomes 2nd Nature...I sure hope I can find something...
Thanks again!
Respectfully Yours,
Jeff Mercer
