I've had my Jackson Maverick HD for a few days and I've run into a problems when tuning the changes.

On the RR lever I can't get the C# on the 2nd string to drop the full step as the hex screw is all the way loose and the finger doesn't go back any further.
On the LR lever I can't get the D# on the 8th string to balance with the F for the LL The raises work but the releases don't.

Now the 2 and 9 on mine aren't returning to flush position. Its almost like it needs another hex nut to adjust this or the lever isn't fully returning to a neutral position.

This how to tune video doesn't really explain any of this or tuning order. No matter what I do something is off on the strings with lowers. Worth noting that I noticed the stop on the RL lever had come loose, no idea what the original position was.

If you don't get a quick resolution here tonight, the folks at Jackson can probably resolve this issue quickly over the phone tomorrow.

With a pull release, the changer fingers usually are not evenly aligned. If you don't have enough space to tune the correct note, move the finger in by tightening the nut. Then retune the open string, then adjust the raises and lowers.

I fixed the 2nd string but the problem on the 8th persists. When I tighten the plastic hex nut for the F raise its too tight to allow the lower to release fully to the D#.
