Knowing I am a spaghetti western fan, a friend sent an album called Rawhide’s Clint Eastwood Sings Cowboy Favorites.

His voice is actually better than I had expected and there s some really nice steel playing on it. Very Hawaiian flavoured.

Does anyone know who the steel player was on this record?

There aren't any musician credits on the album, but if anybody can dig up the session logs, it was recorded May 13th and 14th 1963 at the Fine Recording company's Bayside, Queens Studio in New York. The original vinyl release was Cameo Parkway C1056 around September 1963.
